QUOTE (Morglum)
Does this happen to anyone else...

Boot into the XeniumOS, wait till its loaded and displaying the screen with which bank to boot from, then put in a CD.

The screen will glitch and the menu will be mirrored just above the old one. This happens to me EVERY SINGLE TIME, but it seems fine if i start up with a CD already in, or atleast it hasnt glitched yet

The CD ive been testing this with is one containing a new BIOS i want to flash, ive not tried with a game or any other type of CD.

EDIT: Ive just been playing around with this some more, it seems that it isnt just restricted to how i first said. The menu seems to glitch and produce random characters all over the place.

I can try taking pictures and post them if anyone wants?

Just found how to totally crash the XeniumOS now too. Set your chip to 2x 256k and 1x 512k, flash your chip with anything to the 512k bank, leave the other 2x 256k banks empty, name your 512k bank anything you like, then save.

Now set your chip to boot from bank 3, which is the 512k bank. Reboot the xbox.

Next split your chip into 2x 512k, and flash bank1 with any BIOS again, name it anything you like. Next go to change which bank it boots from, it should be saying bank 2, try changing it to bank 1 where you just flashed the BIOS, you will see it goes to bank 3, bank 4 and then it starts to spit out garbled shit to the screen.

Keep going through the crap about 5 times, untill you get like a white line come across the very top of your screen, then try pressing the B button on your controller to go back a menu, the XeniumOS will now totally lockup.

C'mon you OzXodus guys, i hope you're reading this and the next release will have this fixed.

EDIT: Oh and you wont ever be able to change the boot banks if this happens to you. The only way ive found to get out of this is to reset your bank mode to 4x256k, flash all the banks with a valid bios, then you're able to change the default boot bank back to bank1, then you can split the chip however you like and continue to use it normally

I've taken some pictures, however im not sure if their quality will be any good as i used my T310 to take them. I'll post them up in a moment so everyone can see, the more adventurous of you might even want to check this out for yourselves

That happens to me, too, everytime I flash.

I was told the XOS locked up with more than 1 controller plugged in.  Can anyone else confirm this?

Mine works fine with 2 controllers plugged in. Both are Official S-type controllers.
