The xbox I have in my living room is used primarily for playing music and videos stored on my hard drive,  or for other media streamed from my dedicated server.  The only thing plugged in is my dvd kit so I can use the remote.  Often, a controller is never plugged in, but now I need one plugged in to even boot properly ... definitely annoying.  This is the only drawback to the chip at this point.  I'm sure it will be resolved in the very near future when they release 1.1 OS.

Aside from that ... this chip is awesome.  Good price, good investment and scalable!

Only problem: With a focus chip the resolution is very low and it takes the box a few extra seconds to display a video signal... With Conexant it worked like a champ though...

Have to give it up to those guys, this thing is rock solid (and I wasn't a fan of the Matrix, and not much of a fan of the chameleon).  beerchug.gif
