topic. (i am just wondering how it is, and if anyone from www.modchipman.com's preorders got thiers as that's where i preordered it)

P.S. My order was placed on the 14th and says processing on the 17th any idea how long this site usually takes to ship stuff?

Mine will be here in a couple of days, and I've already soldered in a pin header, and wires to d0 and to Eject in anticipation!

This could be the quickest solder install in history!

Mine has shipped from modchipman too. Was shipped on the 20th because monday was a holliday. Only I have mine shipped reguler usps delivery. So I will have time till I get mine.

But thats ok. I got 4 X2.3pros to install for the next few days to keep me busy.

Got mine yesterday, and installed it, but didn't have any *&#$!&*$#&%$#(^(&^)(!&^#!* CD-RW's and the DVD-RW I had it wouldn't read. So I couldn't flash one of the banks and do anything else. It was a good feeling seeing the Xenium image on the screen when I first turned it on.

yeah wtf, i got so much stuff today and i even personally thanked the UPS man. mine has no d0 connector thing either, what should i use? i wanna install it so bad. btw im in branford, so your about an hour away fromme.

Got mine today, installed it this morning then had to go to classes and work all day. Bought some Verbatim CD-RW's today to load up the BIOS banks.

Messed up my samsung SD-616T though, going to have to put it in my computer instead...unless someone has an idea for fixing the tray_in and tray_out solder points.

The problem I got was that I had wires soldered to those points and the copper contact point pulled right off the circuit board. Is there any way to solder there now? Or re-install a copper ring from a different circuit board...I am really pissed about that now. Paid $100 for the drive and now its useless.

Please post anything possible.
