Then how am I supposed to turn it off/on? I don't want to open my Xbox every time and certainly not keep it open! Does anyone else know if there will hopefully be an external switch?

Dont be such a fool, you turn the chip on and off using its XUI, i suggest you go read up on this, its not hard to find this information at all.  dry.gif

It's not that hard to answer a simple question, either.

No.  It will have some built in software that will allow you to disable it.

When you turn on the Xbox, it will boot directly to the XeniumOS, where you can then reboot with the modchip off.

When you turn your Xbox on the next time, it will come on.

The Xenium will allow you to choose the BIOS you want to load in several different ways.

For example, you could configure it to boot an Xecuter 4980 Bios by pressing the A button on the controller, an Evox M7 bios by pressing, X, or an unmodified MS Bios to use with Xbox Live by holding Y.

Or, you can simply let it boot into the XeniumOS, and from there use the menu to choose which BIOS to load, or to disable the chip until the next reboot.

The idea behind this is that you won't NEED an external switch any more.

Understand now?
