as for ozx
they release the ozxchip, cheapmod design i think, and they were releasing a follow up version that was expected late 2003 but it never eventuated, things in there forums went quiet and now i suppose we know why. Xodus probably teamed up with ozx due to there work on a legal bios version that has many more features than the cromwell ones. ive never myself tried any mod chips but have been looking into it since i new i was getting an xbox for christmas, ozx was the first one i looked at coz its based in australia, lots more information is available on the www.ozxodus.com and www.ozxchip.com sites.

this chip is probably going to have more features than any other chip on the market. i wouldn't expect anything until late jan or even feb 2004

Looking at past history I wouldn't expect to be able to buy one before middle to end of next year.

Nothing in XODUS history suggests this at all.  OzXodus will have their first chip sooner than you suggest.. early 1st Quater 2004.

2 teams werking on a project can cause things to take longer. It's not necessarily the case, but it can happen

As long as you don't look for help "saving on games" here, you should have a good time.  smile.gif

Speculations will get u nowhere!
At least there is a team that doesnt cock around for their achievements,
doesnt set release dates without the full working product at hand and doesnt
makes changes (revisions) along the way like other "teams"!
1000% working product without any bugs!

My opinion is by even making it public the fact that they are working on a chip,
something is cooking!
Patience is a virtue!
Maybe we will get a nice surprise soon!

As for two teams working together for a common task, i dont think it would be a setback!
Mutually understanding and common tasks is required for cooperation and if they didnt
have it they wouldnt have merged!

the ozxodus site already has pictures of the new chip and it looks like a beefed up chameleon with the matrix port swapped out for a ribbon cable.
