when i boot to the 1234 bank my xbox will frag cus i dont have n e bios on their.

the reason that is cus when i http flash it will connect to my xbox and dl the bio then erase the current version then flash the newer version, when it flashes the newer version it freezes about a 1/4 through then it will freeze. ive left it on for hours thinking it was just stuck or somtin but it still remains in the same position where it froze.
But when i install the regular cromwell bios it will flash, it wont flash when i try installing x3 bios.
n e suggestions?

it lets me flash the original cromwell bio but not the x3 3294 or the x3 3293

Sounds like you may not be fkashing to a 1mb bank, although your switch settings are right.

Try disconnecting the switch cable from the X3, you may have faulty or damaged switches/cable.

could it be because im using a upgraded hdd? and if i wasnt flashing to the 1mb bank then how can i reflash the cromwell bios back onto it?

tried, still the same, able to flash cromwell, and not x3

Cromwell is only 256KB.

Make sure the flash protect is off on the chip and switches. The switch on the chip maybe labelled wrong.

I tried it with the switch unplugged, same thing, and i am able to flash the cromwell bios bak on to the first bank. i cannot flash n e of the x3 bios tho.
