i would recommend finding a way to defrag the drive. or try erasing a bit of stuff. the more free space on the hdd, the easier a program can run. the new files are probably being fragmented and chunks of the file are spread over the entire drive.  the more fragmented the drive, the less performance you recieve. if there is no way to defrag the drive, you can always back all your stuff up and reformat it. that MAY help. i have not had a modded x-beast long, so i dont know if the performance suffers over time.
