that the thing with solderless chips and adapters they seem to come a loose for some people or the people who move there xbox alot i think it has just come or moved out of place on the pcb just reline it over the solder points and that should work if you can solder that chip in im not sure if you can with that chip you should it will keep it from moving-good luck.

I took my xbox apart and I actually have a xecuter 2.6. I broke one of the pins on the top of the solderless adapter while trying to adjust it.
I would really like to avoid buying another solderless adapter & being in this same position. Is there a way I can just purchase the pin headers & cables from somewhere? Is there anything else I would need? I looked around, but couldn't find any online stores selling just those accessories.
Would a tv repair place be able to install the chip without those pieces?
