Black Screen W/ X2.6 On 1.6

Help!!!

I have a 1.6 with a x2.6 installed with an xapt3r.  Using the LPT programmer I installed M8_16.bin.

When I boot with AID 3.0 in the drive, I get the pink/purple Evox logo in the upper right during the flubber.  Then instead of the words 'Microsoft' coming up in the lower centre of the screen I get AID 3.0. There sounds like there is DVD drive activity but nothing appears on the screen.

Any suggestions???

try useing x2 5035 bios
try reburning at slow speed 2x max to dvd-r or cd-rw not cd-r
