i have the chip installed ... boots to flashbios .... i grabbed the x2 4978.03 512k bios ...

i followed ubernewb's tutorial on top of the forum .. created the disk .. flashbios in banks 1&2 ... bios in banks 3&4 .. drop it in and it says no bios update found ...

i have the new hdd in the xbox ....

not sure what i need or doing wrong ... anyhelp would be greatly appreciated .. i have done 2 v1.4's in the past but a buddy of mine built the bios files for me ... and i am lost doing that right now ...

i tried the http way ... i get an ip addy assigned .. but it won't come up with ie ...

do i need to have the stock drive in the xbox for flashing the bios ... then swap drives and go from there

ok ... i was able to get it done using the http way .. had to cycle the box a few times for it to come up but got it done .. thanks !!
