Am I Missing Something

ok, total idiot noob here. I got my xecuter 3ce installed and operational with current x3 bios. I have followed more than one tutorial on how to make a iso disk to get evox installed. My problem seems to be that i cannot get the box to boot from the disk. Is there some setting in the x3 bios that controls whether or not the system will boot from the cd drive? I am spinning my wheels here, cause I am stuck on this. I re-flashed my bios just in case something may have been wrong with the bios, but still nothing. Could someone maybe help out?

more than likely it is your media you are burning to...I recently had a problem getting a Samsung, Phillips and Thomson drives to recognize my cd/rw disk...I finally hooked up a new Thomson, put in the same disk and it recognized it....if you don't have the luxury of have a lot of dvd drive lying around try different media...I have had good success with Memorex and Ritek....
