Hi

I need help.

I want to buy a Xecuter Modchip with Xapter, so I need to know, for my xbox version, what to buy, Xecuter 2.6 CE or Xecuter 3 CE

The Xecuter 3 works in Xbox version 1.0

What is the difference between 2.6 CE and 3 CE

Xecuer 3 is the newer chip from team xecuter

both are great chips and both work on a 1.0 xbox, i have an xecuter 3 on my 1.0 xbox and love it.

personlly i would go with the Xecuter 3 Pro but you can go with the CE if you wnat to. i also perfer to solder it on there but the solderless adapter will work on you 1.0 too so its really your choice

if you dont know how to solder i would take it to a pro so you dont f**k your mobo up, if you cant find a pro then get the xapter.

soldering should be the least of your worries, wait until you have to get a BIOS and a Dash Board it gets alittle frustrating but there are some awsome tutorials on X-S

for his needs probably a 2.6 will work fine. most noobs use x3 when all the extra features are kinda pointless.

There is no Xecuter 3 pro.
There is a Xecuter 3 and a Xecuter 3CE.
The Xecuter 3CE is a newer chip but it does the same things as the Xecuter 3.
The CEs layout is different.

Hope this helps.

Oh and by the way the Xecuter 3(CE) config live bios is better than Xecuter 2 bios.
Easier.
Buy the Xecuter 3(CE).
