It looking for the bios to flash, you need to make a disc with the bios.bin file of your choice.

so everything is all good? im used to having the cromwell bios screen come up before i stick the bios disk in.

once i put a bios disk in will the screen change or how will i know if its doing anything?

You won't get anything on the screen, because the cromwell bios on you mod won't work with the focus video chip. Just insert the disc and the xbox will eventually shut down when it has completed the flash.

You have to use the 4979+ or M7 bios for the v1.5.

is the cromwell bios still on the mod, i.e did you use a 512k Bios for the flash, if you did then boot of the cromwell bank and reflash using the right bios.

it was on bank 1 and unproteced when i loaded that wrong bios, and when i go to bank 2 it does the same refrag thing as bank 1.....

U say that u have done a few other xbox's, can't u get a hold of one that u have done already put the chip in that and reflash the bios using Evox.
