Can't Disable X-cuter 2.2 Lite

Can't get the mod chip to cut off. The lights on the switch go out, but the mod chip leds stay on. It boots to evo-x both ways, enabled and disabled. The hard drive has been locked. Could this be an installation error? Thanks to anyone that replies. Everything is great when mod chip is on.

I also have that problem.  The only difference is that I have an X2.3b Pro.  Could it be a manufacturing problem?..........
