I just installed a X2.2lite+ and flashed the bios, now every time i boot up a screen comes up that says xbox linux clean bios 2.24Dev comes up. I have no idea what to do. THere are little icons on the bottom of the screen, one that has a cd and one a ram chip that says bios. Please help a noob

Well I am no master. But what I think your system is looking for is the bios at this point. Something like 4977 ETC.

i flashed with the new 2.4 linux bios

why are you using a linux bios?

My xbox is booting  to the bios, i flashed a modchip, and then when i turned on the box it said something like comwell clean 2.24 dev on top and has all my system info. then on the bottom there is a cd and waht looks like ram, the when you clike the ram it says starting bios bochroetc, and when you choose the cd it tells you to insert a cd then it says linuxboot .cfg not found halting help

please use the search button... or even better.. read the directions from the vendor where you bought the chip..

I mean.. come on... you got the chip in... you should be able to flash the bios... READ READ READ!

Insert a OzXflash disc, then when it prompts you, insert a BIOS disc.  As noted, READ.

i was a little harsh... apologies.. the process of Buying a house has made me a little edgy and today was a bad day.. Damn those lawyers!!!

If you recently bought this chip, you'll prob only need the bios file loaded on a DVD-R or CD-RW named bios.bin..

The new Cromwell Linux bios looks to flash the chip right off... no need for OXFlash.. However, if it's older, you'll need to take Xeero advice and get yourself this fine application that will enable you to flash the Xecuter bios image onto the chip.

actually... if you see the ram and CD icons.. you have the older cromwell.. get OZFlash from the usual places

you flashed your chip with the cromwell bios. congratulations if you want to use linux

i did what you said and when i put in ozflash it tryed to boot linux, what up please help
