V1.2 X-box With Executor 2 Lite

it's done exactly the same as if it was a v1.1 the d0 is in a slightly different place tho. it will work fine

Hi,
I have mod my 1.2 XBox with an X2Lite from www.divineo.co.uk, If I have the middle link linked it  resets 3 times before it stays on and the the eject button flashes RED, if I have the middle link out it switches on as normal but displays MS (mod not enabled), I have put two other mods in V1.1 xbox's with no problems. I have checked the wire links with a meter and all looks goods.

any ideas?

change the jumper that selects which bios u use. your probably using the wrong one

I have tried unsuccessfully with 2 xecutor 2 lite modchips on my v1.2 xbox. Does the chip have to be a certain bios version to work or could it be that my xbox cant be chipped

Bios  OnOff   Flash    Result
OFF    OFF       OFF     Boots Normally and display 'MS'
OFF    OFF       ON      Boots Normally and display 'MS'
OFF    ON        OFF     Boot * 3 and the eject flashes
OFF    ON        ON      Boot * 3 and the eject flashes
ON     OFF       OFF     Boots Normally and display 'MS'
ON     OFF       ON      Boots Normally and display 'MS'
ON     ON        OFF     Boot * 3 and the eject flashes
ON     ON        ON      Boot * 3 and the eject flashes

I made a cold boot before each test.

on the wiring for the modchip does the green wire go anywhere on the motherboard - i have had it tested out and it appears to go nowhere - where should it go to or is it supposed to go nowhere

It sounds like your soldering job is hosed. What you have in common when your problem occurs is that the middle jumper, which is the one that turns the mod on and off, is set to on. I would recommend checking your soldering job and making sure all points are good and secure and no points are bridged.

If you are sure that its soldered good, maybe the chip is bad. Can you try to plug another one into the pin header and test?

I am a modchip installer  in the netherlands and installed just yesterday two executor 2-lite's in two v 1.2 xbox's. i use bios for version 1.1 (so meaning jumper for bios is removed. ) All other jumpers are on.
