Its Kinda A waste to get a whole new modchip, when al it is is a small piece off plastic.

Do you know the specs on the X2 pro programer ZIF connector?

IF you just pulled it out, just try to put it back in, the same thing happened to me, and I tried to put it back the way it was and it works.

No, because the lock is broken in half. 2 pieces. well three pieces. I tried glueing it.

Where do I get the plastic piece?

I don't, have you tried contacting team-executor - try www.gotmod.com

Also, have you tried an electrical shop/online store?

You might also be able to ask a supplier if they have any programmers which have been returned with faulty chips that they could sell you for a reasonable price.

to bad for you eh? I have the same problem, it came to me all broken(same peice your talking about).. and well, I just emailed my modchip ppl (gamegizmo) and they just replyed after a week saying that they'll gimme a replacement.. WHOHOO!!!
