X2 Lite Booting Problem

anyone?? also when it starts to boot I don't see m$ or xecuter 2 anywhere. Just the big X and XBOX underneath. Then it goes to the service screen and blinks green/red.

Have you tested the media you're booting from before?  It sounds to me like the XBox cannot read the CD you are attempting to boot from.

Check the tutorials and make sure you are burning it correctly.

I am gonna try burning once more. I have tried several different burns and I even had a guy send me a known working .iso Still got the error 16 dashboard.

Some people have told me its all because I sold my original HD and that I need to get my original HD back because I never backed up the files before I sold it.

Other people are tell me that it should atleast boot the CD even if my HD is brand new and blank.

I'm not sure since this is my first mod.

Make sure the BIOS Select jumper is either ON if you have a 1.0 box or OFF if you have a 1.1 box...  This is the most common cause of boot problems

anyone? I am still stuck on this.

Could it be anything with my mod? I am quite sure my mod is done correct but I cannot think of anything else UNLESS its because my origina hd was sold and I never backed it up.

I just hate to wait all the time to get the original hd back to me and then find out thats still not the problem.

I ran the d0 from underneath the mobo to the d0 wire that comes out the harness.
