Spiderchip V1.1 Strage Problem
« on: December 19, 2005, 04:37:00 AM »

Sounds like a faulty connector , ribbon cable , switch or switch PCB. Unplug the swith by removing the whole cable and the chip will allways be on ! Do not use XBLIVE and see if it boots On reliably !

Doesn't make sense !

Without the cable pluuged in the Spiderchip V1.1 should boot enabled !

It should not frag without the cable connected , are you sure the chip is amking a good connection ?

The only answer i can think of is that you have a break in the cable and when you move it then you are finding a sweet spot where it is making contact !

Try wrapping the cable in stickytape when it is working , so you keep the pressure on the cable !
