Spiderchip / Spider Gx Connection Test
« on: November 19, 2005, 09:08:00 PM »

Spider connection test:

Unplug the power cord. Remove the xbox cover, the hard drive , the dvd-rom and swing it around 90 degrees so it's facing the wrong way around , leave the cables connected to it and prop it up with something under the front of it so it's near level and supported. Put the hard drive back in which covers up the dangerous power supply area. Plug the power cord back in.

Spider V1.0 / V1.1
Now push down very firmly on the black plastic female pin header and hold pressure on it and press power. If it boots to the spider menu then your chip works fine and needs a squeeze method to work !
