update:

I found out after double checking all the connections, that I forgot one small wire when restoring the LPC header.
I soldered it in place now and the xbox now behaves different:

When I turn it on, it blinks the green LED (round the power switch) on and off a couple of times then it stays on green. But I don't have anything on the screen, just a black screen.

I also checked all the connections with a ohm meter and all the connections that normally are done using thos gold wires are now getting connection through the LPC header.

A broken modchip maybe?
