Why did you flash your chip with cromwell?  It already had it on ther. Apprently you didn't read enough.

But  none the less man treat it as a bad flash. You are going to have to hot swap your chip with another. Really it is very easy i have had to do it several time once for myself and then a couple others for friends. I jsut hope you ahve another chip on hand. If not you may be able to talk to some of the guys around here and some of them do relfashes.

Jsut so you know.  Next time use x2 4981's

Everest ,

ciscokidd73 has flashed cromwell onto his bios successfully so he just needs to flash 4981 with Eurasia !

ciscokidd73 simple grab Eurasia and burn this Flashing program to a cdrw and boot it. Then you insert the bios disc and you will be good to go !

ciscokidd73 read up a bit more at my website ( www.HackDaBox.com )

I am having the same problem I think.  I have my spider 1.1 (<--does not deserve to be a proper noun) flashed with cromwell.  I've tried Eurasia but I get the same error telling me to add the device to raincoat.cfg.  I have no idea what format to add it in, but i see that the chip on the spider is made by Lattice if that helps.  Would someone please make a raincoat.cfg with spider support or something?

Eurasia is not the problem !

Your chip is not making a good contact with the lpc bus ! use the squeeze guide to find ways to make it stay down !

 HackDaBox's Squeeze Guide !

then try flashing again !

PS the problem is the end opposite the screw is rising up in the air and one of the pins ( pin 1 ) is not touchng the lpc enough to make a good contact and programming requires this connection !
