OK yes you do need to flash the bios as the spiderchip comes with FLASHBIOS which is a legal bios that lets you flash your bios with a hacked bios !

Xbox V1.0 - V1.5 use X2 4981

Xbox V1.6 - V1.6b use Evox M8 Plus V1.6
