Smartxx V2 1.6

Will my SmartXX v2 1.6 work on my Xbox v1.0? Does the 1.6 really matter or since it is a v2 chip will it work on any xbox. The reason i ask is because they have two sets of instructions, the one for 1.6 and 1.0 - 1.5 .

There is no such thing as a smartxx v2 1.6.  It is a v2 that comes w/ a 1.6 lpc rebuild board which you dont need for your ver 1.0.  Just install the pinheadder and d0 wire,( after clearing the lpc holes) pop the chip on, flash bios, enjoy...

Its a great peice of hardware....
