How To Install Smartxx With Xapter On Xbox 1.6.

You must also use M8_16 bios to boot correctly on your xbox once up and running be sure to check smartxx.com for OS updates. Is it a smartxx V1 or V2 you have?

cant you rebuild the lpc from the bottom, stick the solderless adapter into the chip, solder a wire from the d0 on the chip onto the d0 on the adapter. then just stick it on....?

1.6 requires solder and the chip needs a wire from d0 to pin 4, so you might as well get an iron or send it to someone to install (beleive me, it SUCKS trying to fix someones failed install, and on a 1.6 it double sucks)

This is one of the reasons SmartXX doesnt make thier own solderless adapdter..yet at least..your best off having it soldered in man....youve spent a nice amount of change on your XBox, Games, Chip, etc....save a bit more and either learn to solder or pay someone to do it.
