it has nothing to do with the chip, you just a need a bios that supports it. (hint, check the bios comparison chart on the main x-s page)

if you use the latest xecuter bios 4981 you can use whatever size hd you want.

Actually, due to the inner working of FATx, the largest hard drive you could use with an LBA48 enabled BIOS is ~250GB without problems and corruption of data.

*UPDATE* I've been told that the corruption problem doesn't affect an F/G setup.
