Need Urgent Help! Messed Up D0 Point On Modchip.
« on: March 02, 2010, 06:39:00 AM »

I was just soldering the D0 point connection on the top of the modchip and this happened;

The D0 solder point fell out, and now i'm left with a little bit of the wire coming up off the modchip. Is there any way to resurrect this or do i have to buy a new modchip? Can i soldering a pin head to the end of D0 point where there is a little hole and connect the wire to that? Suggestions please.

d0* and correct. when the d0 point is grounded it allows the bypass of the TSOP. so basicly, just get the wire coming from the motherboard and solder it to the little silver plate underneath one of the screws. in my opinion, the less wires the better.

Simply solder your wire to the alternate d0 point shown in this picture.
