ok so im trying to reflash my chip on the bank that doesnt have cromwell on it and every time i try to flash it, it says that it is unable to erase the old bios from the chip. i am using aurasia 1.3

do you already have a hacked BIOS on the other bank?
If so, download an app called FlashX and use that instead

can i use it for a fresh install? i lost my xbox hdd a long time ago and i am putting a new one in for xbmc, and yes it is a hacked bios

well i got it to flash since i forgot to switch the bank from cromwell because my gf distracted me when i was working on it so it works now but no more cromwell lol

FTP Cromwell to your xbox hard drive, then use FlashX to reflash that empty bank.

Boot the hacked BIOS, flip the switch on the chip, load FlashX & reflash a 512K BIOS to it.

If you can get Auto-Installed Deluxe (AID) it has the cromwell bios on there. Just go to the advanced options section the to the bios flash part.
