Try booting with the other bank on the DuoX2. You'll have to open up the Xbox to get to the switch on the chip.

it sounds like the chip has gone bad somehow, or the install has gone bad.

if this is solderless, then the adapter may have slipped.
if this is a solder install, then the solder joints may need to be re-touched.
