Hacked Dash Not Loading
« on: January 16, 2009, 01:37:00 AM »

it all depends on the bios you have flashed to the chipit can be C, E or F. Where do you have the dash installed now. the easiest way to figure it out is to use the shortcuts that cam with XBMC. have XBMC in the apps folder and name the shortcuts evoxdash.xbe and move it through each drive until the xbox boots

or use slayers to flash the chip and it will tell you where its gonna look fot a dash at

Hey steveo thanks for the reply. I didn't know which bios were loaded to the modchip and the dashboard(s)(hacked) are loaded on the F partition in a folder named "Dashboards", I ended up fixing it though, I had to reformat partition C and reinstalled the XBOX dash from Auto-Installer Deluxe and reload the evoxdash.xbe to the partition cause somehow just reloading the evoxdash.xbe alone did nothing. I am guessing that somehow the C partition got corrupted, don't know how though but I went ahead and reformated that partition and all is well now. Hope this helps someone else out there. Thanks again steveo for the reply. biggrin.gif
