Firstly, look at my post! Please tell me where it says,
xbox modding is dead? If, you sold 1000 duoX2's good for you....you don't have to brag.
Secondly, in response to these words by you.
CODE
why would you even make the comment? a comment like this has no place in a technical support forum.
I said that
xbox modding is pretty much gone only because I was making an addition to what Chancer said. He was saying how just a few years ago that the type of mistake by expandingman was common place.
I give you props for selling modchips that contain no bios. You are doing a very smart thing. I never meant to step on no ones toes. I even sent a former customer your way. I sent uberdeev your way. I know he bought from you too. I saw him leave you a feedback on your thread. I didn't have anymore duoX2's.
I really wasn't focusing on selling duoX2's.
Litspliff, I don't want beef with you! We cool
Peace out!
no bragging, i'm not getting rich over here. in fact, i don't really make any money worth mentioning off of them. i'm just trying to spread the disease, if you know what i mean. one day my source dried up, so i became the new source. nothing more.
who's got beef? nobody here. i think you are taking this the wrong way. it's cool dude. chill.
thanks for the referral, also. i'm just saying that xbox modding is alive and well. many people are getting into it for the first time now that killing an xbox won't set you back an entire paycheck. a 50$ fuck up is way softer than a 100$ fuck up, so in that respect, a lot of people that stayed away before, are just now getting into it.
i wasn't calling you an asshole, i just think you are wrong about that specific statement. we can disagree and still be friends. and much love for sending people my way. did you sell chips at one point? i kinda got that impression from your "I never meant to step on no ones toes" comment. if so, the scene owes you props for bringing the goods, and you get mad props from me for helping this dude out with his mod-gone-wrong.
anyway, this is the wrong place to debate the state of modding xboxes. maybe we can debate that on a different forum in a civilized manner.
expanding:
your chip is ready to go, but i can't ship on a holiday, so it'll go out on tuesday.
in the mean time work on what we talked about, and be gentle with that board, as it's been through quite a bit already.
you'll get a new pinheader set with the new chip, so if you clear the solder from the LPC, all you'll have to do is drop the fresh pinheader in and flow fresh solder.
you will have two banks you can boot off of, and they give you some diagnostic information on boot which may be useful if your problem is not with the LPC.
