Wierd Problems
« on: September 26, 2008, 01:54:00 AM »

I just installed my Duox2gs on my 1.0 xbox (softmod gone wrong) and put in the bios flash disc, and flashed it with x24983 and it seemed to work, the xbox shut off and I turned it back on and it was back to my old evox dash. Well I went to put in a new hdd and the box frags, any hdd at all. It will not boot off of my auto-installer disc, unless the original 8igb hdd is in there. Could anyone tell me whats going on?

FLUBBER SKIPPING IS VERY BAD!!!

it can mean several things, but often it means a failing component on the motherboard.

have you checked for continuity on all the LPC points to the pinheader?

if you can, check all the way through to the top of your chip.
