Duox2 "white" Related Issue

Ok first off I got my xbox premodded from somebody. It is a 1.0 with a duox2 "white", 320 gig hard drive. Its had problems right from the start, and nothing seems to permanently fix it. It tries to boot three times and then frags, but if i try for a long (A LONG LONG LONG time) time it comes on. Some people have told me that it is a bad connection at a D0 point others have told me that it is because that guy never bothered to even touch the BT point (is the BT point necessary?). I have tried reflashing the bios, but that didn't help.

Thanks

The BT point is necessary. I have explained why in previous posts. Modders who don't use it are amateurs who don't understand why it should be connected.
The guy who modded your console is not very good at soldering either. The intermittent FRAG is not the D0 but more likely poor soldering to the LPC. A crack a round any of the through board connections to the LPC can also cause this.
It is not really fair that you bought a pre-mod and it doesn't work correctly. Kind of defeats the object of buying a pre-mod.
You should get the "Mod Guy" to re-do the install.

most definitely. props to chance man.

the open BT point can also cause the FRAG problem if it is an older duo-chip.

as far as the "modder", knock on his door...then kick him in the balls and take his wallet.

(or you could just make him fix it!)
