Can A Bad Chip Cause Red/green Lights?
« on: April 01, 2008, 01:17:00 AM »

error 41? i think that means you're out of beer.

is the red light on the duo chip flashing when you power on the box with D0 hooked up.

even if you get a 3-boot FRAG, the red light on the chip should come on brielfy.

it sounds like the install went bad, but try and rule everything else out.

UPDATE:

Used my multimeter on the top D0 point and the bottom where I connected to what I *thought* was the alternate D0 on a 1.4, and the 2 points were not connected!  I quickly soldered a wire to the top D0 point and grounded it, and voila, the thing works!  Can anyone point me to the alternat D0 point on a 1.4 board, as I just don't trust my solder job on the tiny top one.  Thanks!
