Lifted Do Point.
« on: November 20, 2007, 11:42:00 PM »

I lifted the DO point on the bottom of the board on a v1.0. this point connects two points so I followed trace wires back and jumped the circuit. Does that DO point go to the other side of the board? I know there is a top DO point but is that it? I really don't want to mess with my jumper any more, that is why I'm asking. If that is the same as the top DO then what side of the jumper should I use for the new DO point?

DuoX2 white.  Thanks in advance for any replies. Also I need a replacement pin header. the male side. I see them on pages that sell xbox stuff but they wanna charge me $10 to ship a $0.99 part. It would be nice if I knew what to ask for when I go to radio shack.

Link the top D0 point to the Bottom Do trace with a jumper wire and that is all you need to do. If you don't need the original bios to boot, simply wire D0 on the the top to ground and link Pin 9 on your chip to BT on the chip. the box will always boot the chip.

I reread your post. I don't need the Original bios if I don't want to use the ms dash correct?

IT WORKS!. linked the bottom to the top and all is well in hardmod land tonight. I screwed up by using an old phone wire for the DO the first time. I used new phone wire this time and it was no problem. Thank you for your help Chance. Yur the man! Your a good guy, I see your posts all over the place. It's real nice of you to give your time to help people like that. Thank you.
