sooo this duox2 i ordered.....i've flashed both banks..... neither work.... both freeze about half-way thru the flubbwer animation.... only option i've seen so far is a chip hotswap.... i flahsed both with an X2 bios

if it is a hotswap thats needed, can someone please enlighten me on the subject, i've never done it with a chip before...
i'm trying to avoid buying another chip, i jus bought this one......if so, might i jus be able to return the one i have?
