1.6b Eeprom Chip To 1.6 Xbox = Coma

Hi all,
Basically....I took the Eeprom chip out of a broken 1.6b (botched mod) and put it into what appears to be a 1.6 (Samsung RAM).

I updated the Eeprom with a stock 1.6 after flashing one bank of the DuoX with 3.0.1 Unauthorised.

After fiddling with changing the video from NTSC to PAL, all seemed good.  However now the box, more often than not, comas on boot up.  Once in a while (especially if left turned off long enough) it will boot up, but wont stay that way.

What could the problem be?  Is something overheating?  Do I need to check for solder splashes/crossed traces etc?  Or is it that I need to updated the Eeprom with something else?
