Frags With Chip In
« on: February 01, 2007, 09:55:00 AM »

error 9 is not a common problem...are you using your std. hdd? were you able to get to the flashbios screen and flash a bios? if you are trying to install another hdd, then switch back to your old one, to get the bios loaded, provided you don't get the frag..if you are getting a frag then it most likely is your soldering...

if you are only getting this error with the chip in and you haven't replaced the original hdd, and if you are not getting to the flashbios screen then I would definitely suspect your soldering and the d0

error 9
hdd parameters, certain size

the hard drive has to be bigger than 8 gigs

which seems strange that it only gives the error when the chip is on
