Problems With Lite Chip

hello all. i have installed several of these already with no problems, but this one has me stumped. after i installed a lite chip it booted fine (i used a pin header on a 1.2 box), but after 4 or 5 boots it starting booting to the original bios and giving me a dashboard error (i am upgrading the hard drive and havent loaded anything yet). the xbox is acting like it doesnt see the chip at all. no on-off-on-off fragging at all. i double-checked my points and everything looks good. i slightly adjusted the chip back and forth and it booted up to the chip which made me think that pins inside werent touching well. then it went on the blink again. so i pulled it off the pin header and attached individual wires to the points from the top of the chip to the bottom of the header on the board. same result, boots to the MS dash.  any ideas? hate to blame it on the chip, but i am not a noob, and have installed 5 of this exact chip. thanks

Unless you have another chip, my suggestion would be try to reflash BIOS, and look forward some bad soldering... thereĀ“s a bad connection somewhere...

this chip came flashed with M8 which was working fine the first few boots. i would try to flash it but i cannot network with it because the hard drive is a replacement and dont have the original (trying to Frankenstein a box...). my solder points are clean, cant figure it out, double checking my BT point as we speak. any other ideas out there??
