I put a DuoX2 in my 1.1 xbox and it would power cycle three times then frag.  I had a functioning v1.4 xbox with an Xecuter3, so I swapped the two chips and everything works fine.  It makes absolutely no sense to me, but it seems like it was having an issue with the version of xbox.

(I swapped them in and out twice and ran into the problem both times, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't just a soldering issue)

Sounds like you had a corrupt bios on the Duox if you were getting FRAG bu the xecuter chip worked.
