I flashed my Duo X2 with the x2.5035.v16plus.137.bin and now when I boot up, I can hear the boot up sequence, but no video at all...  And I cannot ping or FTP to the xbox either..

Am I totally hosed???

Pretty sure... I could be wrong though...

MFG DATE:  2003 08 15
SER NO:   3233811 33305

Another note.. I can boot up with the CROMWELL side of the DUO X2...

EDIT:  ohmygod, I screwed the pooch!!!   sad.gif

I have a 1.5 XBOX, not a 1.6.....

Am I totally hosed???

haha. . . did you actually bother to open up your console and take a look at your motherboard?

From the manufacture date, I can tell you it's most likely NOT a 1.6

1.6's didn't appear until mid-late 2004

Edit: I just noticed your edit. Well, now you know what's wrong with your xbox.
Boot up with Cromwell & reflash a NON 1.6 BIOS.

Yea, it's been a while since I fooled with the BIOS...  I had a 1.6 and a 1.5 at one time and I guess senility has set in..  sad.gif

Could you point me in the direction of how to do a BIOS Flash under Cromwell??

Thanx for the heads up..

OK  This is not going as well as I had hoped...

I created the Eurasia Flash Disk using a Sony DVD-R and burned at 1x.

But when I put it in the XBOX running Cromwell at the prompt, nothing happens..

I also read about having to create a BIOS  Disk but can't find any details on exactly what that entails.

Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong??

Thanx

Update on this..

I found the BIOS disk info...

Here is my issue.

I have burned the Eurasia Flash Disk v1.3

I have burned using Roxio and Nero.  I have burned a DVD-R, a CD-RW and a DVD-RW.  I have used my DVD burner and my CD burner.

I cannot seem to produce a Eurasia disk that will boot in my XBOX.  I have even run a DVD Lens Cleaner disk thru my XBOX..

I am somewhat stumped here...

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!  biggrin.gif

Turns out I needed an MS Controller instead of a third-party one I was using..

OK  while I am up and running again, I still have a couple questions..

Rather than start a new thread, I figured I would address it here...

Does the X2-5035 come pre-configured for <137G partitions??

If not, should I use XBTOOL or X2ool to make it so?

Why would you want your bios to not support 137+GB partitions???

Typo there...

I meant, I WANT it to support 137+....  IE I am going to install a 500 GIG HD and I want 490 of that to be the F: drive...

I never did learn how to point the LESS THAN/GREATER THAN symbols..  biggrin.gif

I am playing with X200L 1.0.3 but can't seem to follow the documentation..
