Leave your original HDD in for the moment.
For the moment leave Xbox D0 to ground.
You now need to attend to the LPC soldering as this is the most likely cause of the symtptoms you are getting with D0 grounded. Make sure your BT connection is good then reflow the soldering to the LPC points.
Only put the D0 back onto the chip once the the box is booting to the Flash screen

The problem will almost 99.9% be down to damage to the LPC points caused during soldering or poor soldering.
Post some pics of the work, see if someone can spot any problems

If the box still FRAGs (flashes red and green ) with the chip out then the damage is to the D0 point. Check witrh a multimeter for continuity between the top D0 and the underside D0 point.

Well if you are sure of your soldering replace the chip.
500+ Duo installs never a faulty one yet for me, but there is always a first time.

how do i do that?
im not an expert when it comes to electrotecnic! ...so please forgive me.

--------------------

With the xbox on and the dvd-rom removed ...i measured for a short time (1-2sec.) on both D0 points 3.4volt than the box went off, booted up (again 1-2sec 3.4volt) -- went off, --booted up and than i measured nothing more on both D0 points.

i also checked point 9 and 6 for (3.3volt and 5volt) -->Works!

-->watch video  FRAGS and CHIP

i haven't a hunch! what else can i try?
Thanks

Unsolder the D0 wire from the chip and remove the chip from the pinheader.
Boot the xbox as if you were booting the retail bios. Does it still Frag or does the MS dash come up ok?
If it still frags there may be damage to the D0 point or trace. You can measure with no power on and a multimeter set to continuity or ohms range, between the bottom D0 point and the top one on the motherboard. It should measure short circuit. If it doesn't there is a problem with the D0

Providing the box booted ok before you attempted the mod then there has to be some damage somewhere.
D0 must be ok. Time to break out the magnifier and go through the whole area you worked on.
