Unsuccessful Install
« on: November 11, 2006, 09:50:00 PM »

I installed a duox2 chip inside a v1.2/1.3 xbox and, now, refuses to work. When I hit power, it turns on/off/on/off/on then blinks red. Before I did that, I installed a duox2 inside a v1.0 and it works just fine. I just repeated the process and now its not working. What do I need to provide ya'll with to help me? Pictures? Lots of details? I don't see how it went bad because we did the same thing (Me and my grandfather) and this one didn't work. What it because of versone differences...did I need to put the pin header in another spot. IF so, how do I fix this because..its been 2 hours and I miss it
Also, I used the same 'Alt' d0 point on both of them, could that be the problem.

Thanks in advance.

Pics of your work would be helpful.  As it is either your soldering that is the issue, or maybe you connected the D0 wire to the wrong pad.

I know this next picture is horible but was impossible to get a clear shot. There is a dot of solder on the 4th spot by accident and then I moved on to the 3rd.
