Some pictures of the work would help but it sounds like the your soldering to the LPC and rebuild is not quite there yet. Reflow all the connections and double check everything with a magnifier.

think you are confusing your chip with an xecuter chip the 2.6 and x3 both have a 5 volt pin on them the duox does not
