Flashing Problem.

OK, I've been out of the game for a little while and now I have a problem. Yes, I did use the search button ALOT.

I installed a white Duox2 into a v 1.0.. Things are good, chip blinks.

When I boot to the flashbios, the screen just stays there. It doens't let me pick any options (hdd, cd, etc), it just hangs.

I made a bios cd with my bios file and dummy file, followed the tutorials to a "T" and nothing.

The box has a Sammy drive and I burnt the cd on a Phillips CD-RW.

Any advice would be most helpful. Thanks in advance.

Make sure you are using a oem controlller

Tried 3 different ones, all OEM.. This is very strange.

Make sure the soldering is not causing the freeze up. Make sure the original controller you use is one of the those big cumbersome things. The S type ones also do not always work.

I finally got it. The cable that plugs into the box (the short one) was bad. I used the same cable with the controllers (kids lost the other ones).

Well, I found another cable and wa-la, chip flashed in no time.
