Unless the reseller reflashed them then yes they will come with hacked bios.

Successfully installed the DuoX2 Gs Blue last night with an 1.6 xbox. switched it over to the Evox bios and boom it came up no problem. Installed an 80gig hard-drive and used slayers 2.6 which I burned to a regular cd-r,
Ran the new install for C and large F  drive. Copied some of my games to the hard drive, moved over my saved games folder and it works perfectly.

Is there a program that will extract .ISO's once you have FTP'ed them to your Xbox?
