So what's your problem if you have evox/xecuter bios? Your intsall is good.

Now put some installer and install the dasboard.

No its not. He means the chip bios will only boot with a grounded D0 connection.

Check the BT connection. If grounding the D0 makes it boot the chip the only thing left is the BT connection.

Is the box a 1.1 by any chance? Some 1.1 boxes can exhibit this symptom with the Duo (although I never had a problem.
make sure your connection to pin 2 is perfect.
If you don't need the chip off just ground the D0 and link BT to pin 9
If you do stick a switch in the D0 line

duox2's are fine for v1.1's.  This problem happens so rarely that I would not go with another chip cause of it.  I bet you will be able to install DuoX2's on another 100 v1.1's and not see the problem again
