Wrong Bios Flashed... Please Help...
« on: August 21, 2006, 07:48:00 PM »

muhaha.gif WEll, I am not sure if it would work in this instance, but what you need to do, is se HTTP to reflash the bios, set up your network, then use http in IE, or something similar. I am not sure if this is the correct place to find a tutorial for it, but it is where I found one for my X3 when I messed it up. Go to the Xecutor Website, and it will have a tutorial on how to use the FLashbios to re-flash your chip with the right bios. Good Luck.

i want to disable this because i need to put a good bios as it is not letting me put a bios because of flashBIOS 3.0.3 (http://www.team-xecu...shbios/http.htm). It reveals how to change the x3 flash protection but i need to know how to change in a DuoX2 chip

Duox 2 does not have a flash protection. You will need a program to reflash that cip. Sorry but I can not rember what program it is at the moment, stuck at work.

You should be able to flash just fine with flashbios.. Best bet is to network flash a new bios; read the tutorial on the team-xecuter link theperfekt001 gave you.

Like philmccan said, duox2s don't have flash protection.

Also, moving to the Duox2 forum... and merging with your other thread on this.

That's usually an indication of poor soldering on one or more LPC connections (could be on the chip itself or on the motherboard)
