You betcha it will work.

The only issue I have ever had with a 1.6 of any flavor would be how to flash the chip after you
install it. You may need to have the Eurasia flash on hand, I like the network flash personally
but on ONE version of 1.6 it dont fire off flashbios and you have to use cromwell and eurasia
to flash it.

but the chip can certainly be used. I have no issues with it. great chip and great price.
