im locking at buying a duox2 lite for my v1.6 before i do i need too know if this chip will lock my upgraded hardrive using the standard bios or allow me too do so using slayers? as id like too aviod flashing the bios i know you'll all probally say but its easy too flash a bios and from what iv read it looks easy enough but if i donnt have too id rather not as i still donnt fully understand the process and want my new hard drive up and running asap

It will allow you to do it using slayers.
This chip already has a hacked bios so will run slayers disc no problems

NO MODCHIP will allow you to lock the HD. You use software for that. SLayers, Auto INstaller deluxe, configmagic, any of those. And ANY MODCHIP will allow you to run that software

ok cool so correct me if im wrong but my plan of attack is as follows

1)install duox2 lite
2)run slayers
3)lock hard drive using slayers
4)enjoy new drive
5)read replies too my posts so i donnt have too edit plan off attack twice ffs lol
